According to a statement by Kuwait Cabinet, the country would allow direct flights to Morocco and the Maldives starting 1st August.
The cabinet provided ease in restrictions imposed in Kuwait to limit the spread of COVID19.
However, the details regarding the direct flight between the two countries it is yet unclear.
Earlier in April 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid met with the Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah discussing business-to-business ties within the two countries.
According to Kuwait civil aviation, over 30,000 passengers traveled just within the Eid Al Adha holidays to Kuwait.
