Emirates is offering its employees six-month salary as bonus following a record profit.
Emirates reported a record profit of USD 2.9 Billion last year following a period of low with the pandemic.
“We had anticipated the strong return of travel, and as the last travel restrictions lifted and triggered a tide of demand, we were ready to expand our operations quickly and safely to serve our customers,” Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, Chairman, and Chief Executive, Emirates.
As a reward, Emirates is offering all employees six months' salary as bonuses.
Emirates has offered employees bonuses in the past in years where the airliner made profits but never amounted to half of the annual compensation.
