Emirates has entered the final stretch of its post‑disruption recovery, announcing that 96% of its global network is now restored, marking one of the strongest rebounds by a major long‑haul carrier. Over recent weeks, the airline has progressively reinstated services across the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East/GCC, the Far East and Australasia, rebuilding the worldwide footprint that underpins Dubai’s role as a central hub for global travel.

The airline now operates to 137 destinations in 72 countries, with more than 1,300 weekly frequencies equivalent to 75% of its pre‑disruption capacity. The return of flights, seats and connection options has accelerated the recovery of passenger flows through Dubai International Airport, reinforcing the city’s position as one of the world’s most resilient aviation crossroads.
Despite operating a reduced schedule during the height of the disruption, Emirates still carried 4.7 million passengers, a figure the airline describes as evidence of both sustained travel demand and the trust travellers placed in its ability to maintain essential connectivity.
As the network rebuilds, Emirates is placing renewed emphasis on the hallmarks of its long‑haul product, comfort, hospitality and consistency. Across all cabins, passengers continue to receive regionally inspired multi‑course menus, developed by award‑winning chefs and paired with a wide selection of premium beverages.
To support passengers navigating evolving travel plans, Emirates has introduced a series of customer‑friendly measures:
Flexible bookings:
All tickets issued from 2 April include one free date change across all cabin classes. Customers may also hold a fare for 24 hours at no charge.
Dubai Connect:
For transit times between 6 and 26 hours, eligible passengers receive a complimentary stopover package including hotel accommodation, airport transfers, meals, and where required a UAE entry visa. The service is available across all cabin classes and can be booked up to 12 hours before travel via Manage Your Booking.
