21,000 tourists arrivals in October and a new record for single-day Air Traffic Movements

Over 21,000 tourists have visited the Maldives this October. There were 9,538 tourist arrivals in September while 7,628 tourists arrived in August and 1,769 in July.

On the first of November, a new record was set for on day arrivals since border reopening with 1,582 tourist arrivals. There were 69 aircraft movements and 158 seaplane movements for a total of 227 aircraft movements.



Manta Air has resumed weekly scheduled domestic flights to Dhaalu Airport while Villa Air Flyme is operating flights to Maamigili airport and is planning to resumes flights to Dharavandhoo Airport.


National airline Maldivian continues to operate to various airports within the Maldives and continues to operate repatriation flights international flights.
