Qatar Airways to Increase Doha–Malé Flights to 21 Weekly from October 2026

Qatar Airways is set to expand its operations to the Maldives, increasing flights between Doha and Malé to 21 weekly services starting October 25, 2026, according to the airline's winter schedule announcement.

The move represents a 75 percent increase in frequency on the route, elevating the service from 12 weekly flights to three daily connections. All services will operate through Hamad International Airport, the airline's five-star hub in Doha .

The expanded schedule is expected to provide travelers with greater flexibility while strengthening connections between the Maldives and markets across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.

The additional frequencies will feed into Qatar Airways' extensive global network through Hamad International Airport, which serves as a major transfer point for passengers traveling between the Indian Ocean destination and key source markets.

The Maldives enhancement forms part of Qatar Airways' broader winter 2026–2027 schedule, which will see the carrier serve over 170 global destinations. Phuket, another popular leisure destination in Asia, will also see its service increased to 21 weekly flights from the same date .
