Premium leisure airline beOnd has announced a major expansion of its European operations, unveiling plans to launch direct services from the Maldives to Paris and London starting in December 2026. The airline also confirmed a significant increase in flight frequencies to its existing Swiss and German destinations.

The announcement, made on March 23, 2026, marks a strategic move for the all-business-class carrier as it seeks to capture growing luxury travel demand between the Indian Ocean archipelago and key European capitals.
The new services to the French and British capitals will be operated by beOnd’s existing fleet of Airbus A319 and A321 aircraft. True to the airline’s premium model, both aircraft types feature all-business-class cabins, configured to accommodate 44 and 68 passengers, respectively.
In addition to the route launches, beOnd is bolstering its presence in Central Europe by increasing capacity to its existing destinations. The airline will add three weekly frequencies to Zurich (ZRH) and two additional weekly frequencies to Munich (MUC), responding to what it describes as robust demand for premium travel from the region.
All of beOnd’s European services from Male (MLE) involve an intermediate stop in the Middle East. The airline noted that while this stopover was previously in Riyadh (RUH) or Dubai Al Maktoum (DWC), all current operations are conducted with strict adherence to safety protocols.
The launch of the Paris and London routes remains subject to final governmental approvals. However, the airline has confirmed that the flights will soon be integrated into global distribution systems (GDS), allowing travel advisors and passengers to book the new premium connections later this year.
