VIA vaccination center would administer Sinopharm Vaccine starting today

Velana International Airport Vaccination Center would be administering the Sinopharm vaccine starting 27th April 2021.

Airport pass holders will be able to administer the first and the second dose of Sinopharm Vaccine from the center which would be open from 21:00 to 23:00 on working days.

BBIBP-CorV, Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine is a COVID-19 vaccine developed by Chinese state-owned China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (CNPGC).

The Chinese government has donated 200,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine to the Maldives

Sinopharm expects to produce one billion doses of the vaccine by 2021. As of March this year, Sinopharm has more than 80 million doses administered.
