The Chinese rocket falls near the Maldives in the Indian Ocean after “Uncontrolled Re-entry”

A Long March 5B rocket which launched the main module of China Tiangong Space Station has landed near the Maldives in the Indian Ocean according to Chinese Space

administration.

The rocket launched on April 29 was initially supposed to immediately drop back to Earth after they have jettisoned however the 23-ton core stage of the Long March 5B remained attached to the space station segment all the way to orbit.

The 108 feet tall 40,000 pounds rocket re-entered Earth’s atmosphere over the Mediterranean before flying over the Middle East and coming down near the Maldives.
