SriLankan Airlines Resumes Daily Flight Service To The Maldives


Sri Lankan airlines have resumed daily flights between Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

In order to attract more visitors Tourism and SriLankan Airlines will offer a ‘buy-one-get-one-free’ promotion from August.

“We are currently working with SriLankan Airlines and the tourism industry to launch a buy-one-get-one-free offer mid-August in several key markets. We are planning to start the promotion immediately with Germany and the Middle East,” Kimarli Fernando, Sri Lanka Tourism Chairperson (Daily FT).

This promotion will be available in UK, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, and the Maldives.


SriLankan Airlines is also resuming flights to Moscow after a six-year break. The flight will be operated every Friday starting 30th July 2021.
