Sri Lankan Airlines To Resume Flights To Addu City This December

In recent years, Sri Lankan airlines was the only international airline operating scheduled international flights to Gan International Airport.



Flights between Gan, Addu City, and Colombo, Sri Lanka first launched in December 2016 and were continued until ultimately halting due to the pandemic.

Sri Lankan airlines have announced flights between the two cities will be resumed from 04th December 2021.


National airline Maldivian has agreed to provide connecting flights from Gan to Huvadhoo Atoll and Male’ City to allow for greater connectivity to the southern region.

Prior to the pandemic, the airline operated up to four weekly flights to Gan.
