Siam Seaplane, the first of its kind premium seaplane service provider in Thailand is planning to launch seaplane services in 2021.
Siam Seaplane and Tropical Ocean Airways, USA signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) in 2020 to start the operations in the kingdom of Thailand.
The airline plans to launch flights averaging 1.5 hours flight time from Bangkok connecting cities such as Hua Hin, Koh Phangan, Koh Samui, Pattaya, Rayong, Koh Kood, and others.
Along with the transfer of passengers, their services will also allow for freight and cargo, logistics, and delivery of crucial goods to previously hard-to-reach areas.
The fleet can also facilitate non-life-threatening medical evacuations and search and rescue (SAR) missions.
