New record set today with 5275 tourist arrivals to the Maldives

Today Maldives broke the on day tourist arrival record yet again with 5,275 tourist arrivals.

As of 24th March, 269,504 tourists have arrived in the Maldives with India leading as the top market. 64,059 tourists arrived from India while 58,680 tourists arrived from second-place Russia.

The top five markets for the Maldives are India, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Germany.

Emirates continue to lead on top with 52,706 passengers carried to the Maldives with 588 flights while Qatar Airways carried 38,207 passengers in 480 flights in 2021.

The top five airlines to the Maldives are Emirates, Qatar Airways, Indigo, GoAir, and Aeroflot.
