Microsoft Flight Simulator to release ATR models for the simulator by 2022

Microsoft announced that they are working together with Hans Hartmann and ATR for ATR 42-600 and 72-600 models for the flight simulator.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is the latest edition to the 38-year-old flight simulator series which is also the longest-running software product of Microsoft.

Released after a 14-year absence, the game features three versions, a standard, deluxe, and premium deluxe with each providing an incremental set of airplanes to fly and additional airports with more detailed scenery and objects.

Over 37,000 airports from around the world are featured in the simulator which are based on real-world satellite images and of which 30-40 are hand-crafted replicas of there real-world counterparts.

ATR is excited to share a special journey with Microsoft Flight Simulator. You will be able to fly the most technologically advanced regional aircraft from the comfort of your own home! Stay tuned. - ATR
