UAE capital Abu Dhabi has added three countries to its travel ‘Green List’ and removed six countries which include the Maldives.
The six countries removed from the ‘Green List’ are the US, Maldives, Israel, Italy, Austria, and Armenia.
Travelers from the Maldives will now be required to undertake the mandatory period of quarantine upon arriving in Abu Dhabi.
The ‘Green List’ includes a total of 28 countries and travelers arriving from these countries can enter the capital after providing a negative PCR test and they will not be required to quarantine.
The three added countries to the ‘Green List’ are Malta, the Republic of Ireland, and Sweden. The new update will come into effect today 18th August.
