GullivAir carried out the first flight from Romania to the Maldives yesterday.
GullivAir is a private charter airline from Bulgaria. The airline operates with only a single Airbus A330-200 with the registration LZ-ONE.
The airline intends to lease additional Airbus A330’s and even smaller ATR 72 turboprop aircraft In the future.
Even though GullivAir is based in Bulgaria, the airline does operate charter flights out of Romania to Punta Cana and the Maldives.
With more airlines commencing operations from various parts of the globe; Maldives broke another record for on day tourist arrivals since border reopening with more than 6,000 tourists arriving on the 27th December.
GullivAir plans to operate additional flights to the Maldives through January 2021.
