Gulf Air, the flag carrier of Bahrain unveiled plans to increase flight frequency to the Maldives due to the rise in demand.

The easing of restrictions in recent weeks has lead to a significant increase in tourist arrivals to the Maldives.

The airline will operate daily flights to Velana International Airport starting 15th August.

During the summer season, Gulf Air was able to achieve up to 80% of pre-pandemic operational capacity.
