Hellenic Seaplane to launch seaplane flights in Greece in the summer of 2021 is dubbed the ‘The Maldive of Europe’ by the company CEO Nicolas Charalambous.

Established in 2013, the Hellenic seaplane is planing to provide seaplane services to ten regions. Three water aerodromes in Corfu, Paxoi, and Patra, are already licensed while the remaining would soon follow.
“The process of licensing water aerodromes was simplified, and we saw within a year, despite the obstacles brought about by the coronavirus, that the interest around their creation and the arrival of seaplanes increases,” - Charalambous.
The seaplane operators fleet consists of DHC6 Twin Otter, Dornier Seastar CD2, Cessna Caravan X, and Kodiak.
Another seaplane operator Grecian Air also announced plans to launch seaplane flights from September 2021,
