Emirates will be resuming flights from India on 23rd June as UAE eases heavy travel restrictions imposed on India, South Africa, and Nigeria.
Emirates continued flights to India during the restrictions period with return flights having almost no passengers at all.
One of the passenger's videos went viral just a month ago as he was the sole passenger on board the Boeing 777-300ER.
"Emirates welcomes the latest protocols and measures announced by Dubai's Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management to allow the safe resumption of passenger travel from South Africa, Nigeria and India to Dubai and onwards," said the airline's spokesperson in a statement.
Emirates is expecting to reach a 90% pre-covid operation rate by the end of July.
