An ANA Boeing 787 diverts as Captain suffers stroke mid-flight

An All Nippon Airways Boeing 787 was diverted mid-flight as the captain suffers from a stroke.

Flight NH-214 was en route to Tokyo, Japan from Paris, France when the first officer declared emergency reporting pilot incapacitation. The captain showed indications of a stroke with sudden headache and facial asymmetry.

The flight was diverted to Novosibirsk, Russia an hour later where the captain received medical attention and was taken to a nearby hospital.
