Airbus to use an A350 test aircraft to fly Humanitarian Aid to India

Airbus will be operating one of its Airbus A350 test aircraft to fly humanitarian aid consisting of ventilators and oxygen generators to India.

Two Airbus A350’s already have been dispatched to India from Toulouse, France with medical equipment. This aid is in addition to the 26 tonnes of donations to India by the French government.

“Airbus stands behind India in solidarity and service. Our focus is to support not only our employees, customers, and partners but also as many people of India as we can. This is our common fight against the virus and we at Airbus are committed to doing our best to help in these challenging times for India and the world.” - Rémi Maillard, President, and MD of Airbus India & South Asia

Emirates and Qatar Airways operated flights to India free of charge with medical equipment last month as many countries are providing assistance to India.
