Air India Will Operate Flights From Delhi, Mumbai And Bangalore To Maldives Starting 28th July

The national flag carrier of India, Air India will resume flights to the Maldives starting 28th July.

Nonstop direct flights from Mumbai will be operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

A connecting flight from Delhi on the same day would allow travelers from Delhi to fly to Male’ via Mumbai on this flight.


Air India will also operate flights from Bangalore with a stopover in Thiruvananthapuram every Monday and Thursday starting 29th July.


At present Indian carriers Go First and Indigo operates flights from Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kochi to the Maldives.


Indian carriers have resumed flights to the Maldives following the lift of the travel ban on travelers from South Asian countries on 15th July.


Tourist arrivals have significantly improved in July after a peak low in June with 3,117 daily average arrivals which is the highest achieved since March 2021.
