A Passenger Attempts to Break into the Cockpit of a Delta Airlines Boeing 737
A passenger onboard Delta Airlines flight DL386 attempted to break into the cockpit mid-flight.
The flight was from Los Angeles, California to Nashville, Tennessee with 162 passengers and six crew.
During the flight, the unruly passenger came in force shouting “stop the plane” and attempted to break into the cockpit.
Flight attendants with assistance from passengers managed to restrain the man and tied him to the seat preventing him from causing any harm.
The flight was diverted to Albuquerque, New Mexico where the FBI was called to investigate.
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently imposed heavy fines for passengers for unruly behavior during flight. Just last month five passengers were fine $65,000.
