A 77 Year Old Douglas DC-3 With 3 Crew Missing- Presumed Crashed

An Aliansa Douglas DC-3 which was performing a test flight from Villavicencio to Villavicencio, Colombia with 3 crew has gone missing.

Radar contact with the 77-year-old DC3 registration HK-2820 was lost just five minutes after departure.

According to reports the crew declared an emergency shortly after departure. A search and rescue effort has begun to locate the aircraft which is presumed to have crashed in the Guatiquia river canyon at an altitude of about 1600-1700 meters.
