Ravn Alaska To Retrofit Dash-8’s With ZeroAvia’s Hydrogen Electric Engine

Ravn Alaska has made an order for 30 hydrogen-electric engines to retrofit the carrier's Dash-8s.

Ravn Alaska based in Alaska operates with a fleet of 11 Dash 8’s which include the -100 and the -300.

ZeroAvia’s ZA2000 2–5 megawatt modular powertrain is designed for 40 to 90-seat turboprop aircraft and is intended to become operational by 2026.

Canada’s De Havilland has launched three freighter conversions for the Dash 8-400 turboprop at the Farnborough International Airshow which include the Quick Change (QC), the Package Freighter (PF) and the Freighter with Large Cargo Door (F-LCD).
