In all Aeroflot stopped all international flights excluding flights to nearby Belarus in March.

Maldives Civil Aviation Authority has said the air service agreement between the two countries remains unchanged and airport authorities in the Maldives will provide aircraft services including ground handling and fueling services as necessary for the flights.

The carrier will use the Airbus A330 on flights to the Maldives. Aeroflot on Friday announced the purchase of additional eight Airbus A330 aircraft.

In addition to the Maldives, Aeroflot resumed flights to Delhi, India earlier this week after 2 months.
