China Eastern Airlines Grounds All 108 Boeing 737-800 Following The Crash


Yesterday China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 carrying 132 passengers crashed into a mountain in South China.


The Boeing 737-800 was operating flight MU5735 from the city of Kunming to Guangzhou, China.

According to data, the Boeing 737 was cruising at 29,000ft before going down at vertical speeds reaching 30,000 ftpm+ before tracking ends at 3,225ft.


Video footage captures showed the aeroplane nose-diving to the ground during the final seconds before impact.

A massive crater was created at the crash site and there were no signs of any survivors. Chinese Civil Aviation Administration has launched an investigation into the crash.


The United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has appointed a senior air safety investigator as a U.S. accredited representative to the investigation and Boeing has said their technical experts are prepared to assist with the investigation.
