Maldivian Will Resume Flights Between Hanimaadhoo and Trivandrum On 12th April

Maldivian, the national flag carrier of the Maldives is reinstatement flights services connecting Hanimaadhoo International Airport and Trivandrum, India.



Commencing on April 12, 2024, this strategic flight restoration underscores Maldivian’s unwavering commitment to bridging the northern reaches of the Maldives with vital regional hubs.


Mr. Ibrahim Iyas, Managing Director of Maldivian, emphasized the significance of relaunching this route. He stated, “The resumption of this route significantly benefits our valued customers and contributes to the economic vitality of the northern Maldives. It reflects our steadfast dedication to enhancing air connectivity in the region, bolstering the travel industry, and fostering socioeconomic growth. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the authorities and partners involved, with special recognition for the Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL).”


Booking is already open and travelers can secure tickets for the Hanimaadhoo-Trivandrum route through all of Maldivian’s sales channels, including the website, mobile application, and ticketing office. The airline will operate two weekly flights, departing every Friday and Monday.
