Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) is the largest seaplane operator in the world with a fleet of more than 60 De Havilland DHC6 Twin Otters.
The newest addition is a DHC6-300 Twin Otter that first rolled out in 1985. This aircraft began the long ferry flight from Canada on 25th March and is expected to arrive later today at Velana International Airport.
With a fleet of 60+ seaplanes, TMA operates to well over 80 destinations across the Maldives primarily serving resorts.
