Turkish Airlines Generated USD 2.7 Billion Profit In 2022


Turkish Airlines ended the year 2022 generating USD 18.4 billion in revenue with a net profit of USD 2.7 billion.



The USD 18.4 billion revenue is a 39% increase compared to 2019 which is a record high.


Turkish Airlines flew 71.8 million passengers in 2022 which is only 3% below pre-pandemic levels.

The carrier saw an increase of 24.8% in demand for travel on its network to the Middle East, 19% to Africa, and 16.8% for the far east.

Additionally following the earthquake in Turkey, the carrier operated over 2,400 flights carrying aid materials and evacuating 430,000 citizens.
