Dubai International Airport (DXB) is planning a refurbishment of one of the runways at the airport which is expected to impact the airports operations.

Airlines are announcing operational changes in order to accommodate flights into Dubai. Most recently Qatar Airways has released an official statement detailing changes in flights for the upcoming days.
Qatar Airways flights to Dubai between 9th May and 22nd June will be operated to
Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).
Passengers travelling with #QatarAirways into Dubai International Airport are advised that flights will be operating from Al Maktoum International Airport between 9 May-22 June, due to a runway closure at DXB. We apologise for any inconvenience to our passengers during this time. - Qatar Airways.
Dubai International Airport has advised passengers who are due to travel into or out of Dubai during this period to check with their respective airlines, the airport, and the terminal of arrival/departure ahead of their journeys.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will also provide bus service between all terminals at DWC and DXB, and passengers will be given complimentary parking at DWC.
FlyDubai also has announced changes to certain flights inbound to Dubai however the list does not include flights from Male, Maldives.
