MACL Presents Merit Award to Four CHSE Students

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has presented its annual Merit Award to four top performing students from the Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), recognising academic excellence and supporting the development of future leaders.

The MACL Merit Award, introduced under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, is presented each year to the highest achieving Grade 11 students.

This year’s ceremony was held during a special assembly at CHSE, where MACL General Manager Ali Huzaim presented the awards.

The recipients of the 2026 MACL Merit Award are:

• Azwad Zahid Hameed

• Eezaan Ali

• Hamdha Ahmed Shiham

• Aishath Naureen Hamdhee

Each student will receive a laptop and a Wi-Fi device, along with a one-year data package and a monthly allowance for the year.

In addition to the Merit Award, MACL has been presenting cash prizes to CHSE’s Best All‑Round students since 2023. Through its broader CSR initiatives, the company continues to support schools across the Maldives by providing resources and various forms of assistance aimed at strengthening educational opportunities.
