BeOnd Adds Extra Flights to Munich, Zurich and Milan to Support Travellers Amid Regional Disruptions

beOnd has introduced additional flights between the Maldives and three major European cities, Munich, Zurich and Milan this week, expanding capacity for guests whose travel plans have been affected by recent disruptions. The airline says the move is aimed at ensuring travellers have more options to return home or continue their journeys to the Maldives with minimal inconvenience.

The extra flights supplement beOnd’s existing European network, which continues to operate normally and on schedule. By increasing availability on these key routes, the airline aims to provide immediate relief for guests facing limited options due to wider regional constraints.

Operational teams in Male’ and Europe are working closely with airport authorities and ground partners to ensure the smooth handling of the additional services. The airline emphasised that maintaining a seamless travel experience remains a core priority.

Temporary airspace restrictions in the region, caused by the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran, have led to the closure of several key Middle Eastern air corridors. The heightened military activity and missile exchanges in recent days have prompted authorities to limit civilian overflight for safety.

As a result, beOnd’s technical stops in Dubai are currently not possible. beOnd flights are being routed via the Red Sea instead, a change the airline says has no impact on the European schedule.
