Maldivian Hiring Pilots for Airbus A320 & A330

Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has announced openings for experienced flight crew to for Airbus operations.

The airline recently expanded its fleet to include Airbus wide-body aircraft, enabling direct services to China and other strategic destinations. As part of its operational scale-up, Maldivian is seeking qualified pilots with current type ratings and recent flying experience on Airbus.

Airbus A320 Captain

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid and current ICAO ATPL(A)

• Minimum 5,000 total flight hours on aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of 50 tons or more

• At least 1,500 hours of command experience on Airbus A320

• Type-rated and current on Airbus A320

• Recent flying experience on Airbus A320 within the last 12 months

• Valid Aviation Class 1 Medical Certificate

• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher, with at least six months to expiry

Airbus A330 First Officer

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid ICAO ATPL(A)

• Minimum 2,000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with MTOW of 50 tons or more

• At least 1,000 hours of experience on Airbus A330

• Type-rated and current on Airbus A330

• Recent flying experience on Airbus A330 within the last 12 months

• Valid Aviation Class 1 Medical Certificate

• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher, with at least six months to expiry

Applicants are required to submit the last three pages of their updated logbook, certified by a fleet manager or chief pilot. A report of any incidents or accidents from the licensing authority will be requested for shortlisted candidates. Incomplete or non-compliant applications will not be considered.
