In the First Week of The FIFA World Cup Over 7,000 Flights Operated To Qatar


The start of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar has brought in hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world to the tiny nation.



Just in the first week alone, over 7,000 flights operated in and out of Qatar and the country is expecting 12,963 flights and more during the second week.


Air France, Lufthansa and other international airlines have also increased scheduled and charter operations to the nation for the event.


Both Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Doha International Airport have prepared to handle over 100 flights per hour.
