Only One Passenger was onboard Emirates Boeing 777 Flight from India to UAE

Just one passenger was traveling onboard Emirates flight from Mumbai, India to Dubai, UAE earlier this week.

The Captain of the flight gave the passenger flight details announcement in person rather than over the passenger address system.

The reason for the lack of passengers is due to the restrictions imposed on India by the government of UAE.

Passengers traveling from India and passengers who have transited through India in the last 14 days are not allowed to travel to the UAE.

The ban was just recently extended to June 14th due to the high number of COVID19 cases present in India.

Emirates has said the airline will continue flights to India however the only passengers allowed to travel on the return sector from India will be Emiratis nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas, and members of diplomatic missions.
