Manta Air is the first customer to use Airbus Asia Training centers first ATR 72-600 FFS

Manta Air is the very first customer to use Airbus Asia Training Center’s (AATC) ATR 72-600 full-flight simulator.

Airbus Asia Training Center is Airbus’s satellite flight crew training center for the Asia Pacific region that was established in 2015. Over 10,000 trainees use the facility every year.

The 9,240sqm facility has 9 full flight simulators that include 8 Airbus FFS and 1 ATR FFS. The simulators cost more than USD 100 million.

The simulators are used to carry out full aircraft type rating training for new pilots and also to carry out annual proficiency checks for line pilots.
