The Indian government has extended the suspension on scheduled international flights till 30th September 2021.

All cargo international flights, flights operated through the air bubble and specially approved flights can still continue and passenger entry would be allowed as per the guidelines.

India has signed air bubble agreements with many countries to mutually allow international flights however, due to the seriousness of the second wave, many countries have temporarily suspended flights to and from India including the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Canada.

Due to the spread of COVID19, the suspension on international flights to India was first imposed on 30th March 2020 and as of today, India is not in a rush to lift the suspension.
