The national flag carrier of Spain celebrated its 94 years of service this week.
Iberia was launched in 1927 by Investment from Spanish businessman Horacio Echevarrierta and Deutsche Luft Hansa.
Today the airline operates to 109 destinations in 39 countries with additional 90 destinations connected through code-share.
In total Iberia has 131 aircraft in its fleet with main brand Iberia operating 67 aircraft, Iberia regional operating 42 aircraft, and Iberia Express operating 22.
Iberia will begin commercial flights to the Maldives from Madrid in July operating twice weekly.
