Emirates leads as top airline to the Maldives in 2021

As of 14th February over 138,912 tourists arrived in the Maldives with the most passengers arriving via Emirates.

28 airlines are presently operating flights to the Maldives from 20 destinations worldwide.

With 300 aircraft movements over 28,974 passengers traveled by Emirates in 2021. Qatar Airways is second most with 17,013 passengers traveled from 266 aircraft movements.

Two Indian airlines, indigo and GoAir are ranked second and third with combined 29,954 passengers traveled.

At peak, through later December 2020 and January 2021, both Emirates and Qatar Airways were operating four daily flights to the Maldives.

Most tourists arrived to the Maldives from Russia with 27,041 while the second most tourist arrivals were from India with 26,292 tourist arrivals.
