DHL Orders 12 Fully Electric Airplanes From Start-up Eviation


With 12 orders, DHL became the first to place the order for Eviation’s fully electric airplane the Alice.

The Alice requires 30 minutes to charge per flight hour and if can be charged while loading and unloading to ensure quick turnaround times.


Alice can be flown by a single pilot and will carry 1,200 kilograms (2,600 lbs) and has a maximum range of 815 kilometers (440 nautical miles).

The DHL Group is investing a total of 7 billion euros (Opex and Capex) by 2030 in measures to reduce its CO2 emissions under the new Sustainability roadmap.
