Close To 100 Pilots Returning To Work Each Month At Emirates


As passenger travel demand is on the rise; Emirates is bringing back many pilots who were put on leave due to the COVID19 pandemic.

Over 70 - 100 pilots are brought back each month, primarily A380 pilots as Emirates ups A380 schedule.


Almost all of the airlines' 777 pilots are active as almost all of the 130 Boeing 777 in the airline's fleet are active in operation.

Emirates plans to operate 30 A380s for the summer however, the majority of the A380 fleet will still be left grounded.


The airline expects flight operations to be up by 40-50% in summer and then gradually up to 70% in winter.
