Blue Panorama, now rebranded as Luke Air resumes charter flight services to the Maldives from Poland yesterday arriving with 297 tourists on the first flight.
The flights chartered by Polish tour operator ITAKA and managed by Sun Ocean Maldives are planned to be operated until April 2022.
Blue Panorama announced the rebranding of the airline as Luke Air in late 2019. Over the recent years, Blue Panorama struggled financially and entered bankruptcy protection in 2012.
Blue Panorama also operated low-cost short and medium range flights under the brand name Blu-Express and business charter flights under Executive Blue.
In November 2019 and March 2020, Luke Air received delivery of two Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a new yellow-blue livery.
Blue Panorama retired its final Boeing 767-300ER and announced the rebranding to take place in January 2021.
