Austrian Airlines Resumes Flights To The Maldives


As Austrian Airlines is resuming flight to popular holiday destinations for Austrians in time for the start of autumn holidays, flights to the Maldives has been resumed.


Austrian Airlines will be operating three weekly flights to Male’ from Vienna starting today.

“The summer and also the current off-season show that people don’t want to be deprived of their desire to travel and soak up the sun by the sea. With our winter flight schedule, we are therefore focusing specifically on attractive long-haul destinations at the start of the autumn holidays to satisfy our passengers’ desire to travel,” – Michael Trestl, Chief Sales Officer, Austrian Airlines.

In addition to the Maldives, Austrian Airlines will also reintroduce flights to Mauritius on 23rd October after 15 years since the last flight.


The Boeing 777 will be used on all these long-haul flights to holiday destinations which include economy and business class seating configuration.
