Austrian Airlines bids farewell to the Dash8 as the Airline switch to an only Jet Fleet
Austrian Airlines operated the last flight on the Bombardier Dash8-Q400, marking it an end of an era for the airline.

The final flight was flown yesterday from Vienna to Innsbruck with a specially painted Dash8 with the words “Pfiat di” meaning goodbye.
From the 18 Q400’s the airline operated recently with, 10 Q400’s have been officially retired from the fleet and are acquired by airlines in the UK and Canada while others have been scrapped.
The remaining 8 Q400s will leave the fleet in the coming months. The future fleet of the airline will consist of only jet aircraft which includes Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer aircraft.
