The SILA Siberian Light Aviation Antonov An-28 went missing as the airplane disappeared from the radar.
The An-28 registration RA-28728 was performing a flight from Kedrovy to Tomsk in Russia.
The airplane disappeared while it was 100 nautical miles northwest of Tomsk in western Siberia and a signal from the Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) soon triggered.
As the search and rescue team arrived on the scene, they saw the aircraft flipped upside down however, miraculously all passengers were safe.
The pilot suffered a broken leg whereas the rest of the crew and passengers survived with just minor cuts and bruises.
According to reports, an engine failure during flight may have lead to the crash landing.
