Airbus unveils Airbus Corporate Jet 220.

Airbus has today unveiled a new business jet, based on the popular Airbus A220.

The Airbus A220 is a family of narrow-body, twin-engine, medium-range jet airliners. The airliner was designed by Bombardier Aerospace and originally marketed as the Bombardier CSeries.

Bombardier sold the CSeries airliner program to Airbus and it is now owned by Airbus Canada Limited Partnership.

The A220 gives an incredible range of more than 10,000 km. Airbus says it can fly for 10,500 km / 5,600 nmi, allowing it to fly nonstop for 12 hours or more.

The first ACJ220 will be operated by Comlux Aviation, which expects to fly its new aircraft by 2023. Comlux ordered a second aircraft as well, with four other aircraft going to undisclosed buyers.

The ACJ220 includes inimitable LED mood lighting, as well as the latest electro-chromatic windows. It will also have two times better connectivity than its competitors and WiFi system across the entire cabin.

This floor space is split into six VIP living areas, available for configuration to suit the needs of the owner.

The jet can comfortably accommodate up to 18 passengers on board, with space to work, dine, relax, and sleep as required.
