Aeroflot starts scheduled flights to Seychelles after 17 years
Russian national airline Aeroflot operates flights with tourists to Seychelles for the first time in 17 years. Aeroflot will be operating two weekly flights to Seychelles on Sundays and Fridays.
The airline first started operating flights between Moscow and Seychelles in 1993 with stops in Dubai. However, flights were stopped and the airline closed its office in Victoria In 2003.
"We are very proud to be the very first European airline to come back to Seychelles in 2021 with a regular service between Moscow and Mahe," - Anton Myagkov, chief marketing officer, Aeroflot
Seychelles national airline Air Seychelles also operated flights to Russia in 2018 which did not last for long. Another Russian Airline, Transaero operated seasonal charters between the two countries.

Seychelles and Russia will be celebrating 45 years of bilateral relations in 2021.
