On average the airline charges AU$70 for extra legroom on these flights. Dave O’Neil took to Twitter:
“Hey @Qantas, all I wanted was extra legroom on my flight to Perth, very happy to pay for it but this seems a bit expensive....,”

Qantas has said they are investigating the matter. O’Neil is active on radio and TV, including Spicks and Specks, and was most recently performing a show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
