Qatar Airways Named ‘Airline of the Year’ for 2024

Qatar Airways has once again secured its position as a leader in the aviation industry by winning the prestigious title of ‘Airline of the Year’ for 2024. This remarkable achievement marks the airline’s unprecedented eighth win as the ‘World’s Best Airline’ at the 2024 World Airline Awards, organized by the renowned international air transport rating organization, Skytrax.

Qatar Airways has consistently demonstrated excellence, having previously been named the world’s best airline in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022, and now 2024.


The airline also clinched the title of ‘World’s Best Business Class’ for its exceptional premium cabin experience. Qatar Airways’ business class lounge was recognized as the ‘World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge’.


Qatar Airways leads the industry in innovation and digital adoption, recently earning the title of ‘World’s Best Airline Website’ at the World Travel Tech Awards. The airline was also the first in the Middle East to achieve the highest level of certification in IATA’s Environmental Assessment (IEnvA) program, emphasizing its commitment to environmental sustainability.


Qatar Airways became the inaugural signatory to the Buckingham Palace Declaration, actively preventing illegal wildlife trafficking in aviation.


With flights to over 170 destinations worldwide, Qatar Airways connects travelers through its hub, Hamad International Airport, which has been consistently voted the ‘World’s Best Airport’ by Skytrax.


Hamad International Airport also received the accolade of ‘Best Airport in the Middle East’for an impressive 10 consecutive years, along with the title of ‘World’s Best Airport Shopping’ for the second year running.
