A 9-year-old boy entered the Baggage Conveyor System at Minneapolis Airport
A 9-year-old boy was found safe after entering inside the conveyer-belt baggage handling system at Minneapolis International Airport last Saturday.
The boy was part of a group of about 20 people checking their bags. The boy managed to get onto the conveyer belt and make his way inside the baggage screening area.
“Among them was a 9-year-old child who dove onto the bag belt as it left the ticketing lobby to go down into where all the conveyors separate the bags to wherever they’re going to go to the proper airplane.” “There was a lot of confusion because there were so many people in the group,” said an airport spokesperson.
The boy was lost for about five before the airport police located him.
